Financial Aid

We are committed to giving every child a seat at the table, regardless of the financial circumstances of families. We are able to offer a limited number financial assistance scholarships to families based on income profile. Additionally, we work with the New Hampshire Children's Scholarship Fund (CSF) and accept both Education Tax Credit and Education Freedom Account funds. Investing in your child's education is an important decision, and we are here to help you with the process.

Please contact inquiries@theharknesshouse.org to learn more about financial assistance.

Children's Scholarship Fund

The Children's Scholarship Fund's New Hampshire program provides scholarships to empower low-income New Hampshire families to choose the education that best fit their children’s needs, regardless of their income or zip code.

We work with families who qualify for CSF support to make attending The Harkness House an affordable option. The Harkness House is registered with CSF to accept scholarship funding, and there is no additional paperwork to complete once a family qualifies for a CSF scholarship program.

Education Freedom Accounts

In addition to other scholarship programs, the Children's Scholarship Fund administers New Hampshire's Education Freedom Accounts (EFA). EFA funds are available to all New Hampshire families who meet income eligibility requirements, and the funds can be used to pay for a variety of educational opportunities for both traditional and home educated students. The Harkness House accepts EFA funds for full-time tuition and Harkness Home  Education course registration fees.

Please contact inquiries@theharknesshouse.org before registering for Harkness Home Education courses or programs so that we can apply your EFA funds to the cost.
